This large dark blue and white pitcher was thrown on a pottery wheel using stoneware clay. While the clay was still wet, the shape was altered. The design was created using resists and underglaze and multiple glazes, poured, brushed and sprayed. The picher was then fired to Cone 6+ in an electric kiln.
